David Joseph McGuinty PC MP (born February 25, 1960) is a Canadian lawyer and politician who has been a Member of Parliament for Ottawa South since 2004. He has been the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness since 2025. Before, he was the minister of public safety.[1]
