"Deep River Woman" is a 1986 song by Lionel Ritchie featuring Alabama and is the fourth single from his third studio album Dancing on the Ceiling. It was released as an A-side Ballerina Girl. It went to number 71 in the United States and made number 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and Canadian RPM Country Tracks. In 2012, Richie re-recorded the single with country band Little Big Town.
