Dijon Football Côte-d'Or, also referred to as Dijon FCO or simply as Dijon, is an French football club based in Dijon. The club was founded in 1998 after the merger between two local clubs in the city. The club play their home matches at the Stade Gaston-Gérard.

History

The club was founded in 1998 after two local clubs, Cercle Sportif Laïque Dijonnais and Dijon FC decided to merge, which was named Dijon Football Côte-d'Or. During the 2003–04 season the club were promoted to Ligue 2 after finishing third in the Championnat National. During the 2010–11 season the club were promoted to Ligue 1 for the first time, but were relegated back to Ligue 2 after one season. The club were promoted back to Ligue 1 during the 2015–16 season and stayed in Ligue 1 for five seasons before two relegations in three years back to Championnat National.
