Duhok (Kurdish: دهۆک, romanized: Dihok) is a city in the Kurdistan Region. The city is the capital of Duhok Governorate and has a population of 500,000. Kurds form the vast majority of the population in Duhok. There is a university in Duhok. The soccer club is Duhok SC.[2]
