Reign
Ekinchi ibn Qochar (?-1096/1097) was briefly shah of Corasmia shortly before dying. Unlike the lords who succeeded him in the government of the region, he was not a descendant of Anush Tigin Gharchai. The Seljuk sultan Barkyaruk named him sah of Korasmia when Anush Tigin died. Several Seljuk emirs rebelled and murdered him shortly after. He was succeeded in office by a son of Anushtegin Gharchai, Qutb al-Din Muhammad.[2]
Death
He was succeeded by fellow Turkic ghulam Ekinchi as Khwarazmshah in 1097, but the latter died in the same year.[3]
