Elastomeric respirator

An elastomeric respirator is a respirator with changeable filters. It is also made of rubber and plastic. It can be used many times. They can be big or small. The big one that covers the eyes is called a full-face elastomeric respirator. The small one that covers the nose and mouth is called a half-mask elastomeric respirator.[1] Elastomeric respirators are usually used in industry.

  • This is not an elastomeric respirator. But it is an N95. This respirator type is called a filtering facepiece. It is seen often.
  • This is an elastomeric respirator. The filter can be changed.
  • This is a person wearing an half-mask elastomeric respirator.
  • This is a person wearing a full-face elastomeric respirator. It covers the eyes too.
