Elizabeth Berkley (born July 28, 1972,[1] in Farmington Hills, Michigan) is an American movie and television actress. She is best known for her role in Saved by the Bell. She also acted in the 1995 erotic drama Showgirls, which garnered controversy due to its intense sexuality. Most of her movies are independent movies.

Berkley is Jewish.[2]
