Elizabeth Furse (October 13, 1936 – April 18, 2021) was a Kenya Colony-born American businesswoman and politician. She was a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1993 to 1999, representing Oregon's 1st congressional district. She was a Democrat. She was the first naturalized U.S. citizen born in Africa to win election to the United States Congress.[1]

Furse died on April 18, 2021, at age 84, at her farm near Hillsboro, Oregon from problems caused by a fall.[2]
