Ellen Pompeo

Ellen Katherine Pompeo (November 10, 1969[1]) is an American actress. She works mostly in television shows. She portrayed the character Meredith Grey in Grey's Anatomy. She also[2] does other television work.[3] She was born in Everett, Massachusetts.[1] She married producer Chris Ivery in 2007.[1]
