Emergency (2022 movie)

Emergency is a 2022 American thriller comedy-drama movie directed by Carey Williams and written by K.D. Dávila. The movie's plot revolves around the decision-making of three friends Sean (RJ Cyler), Kunle (Donald Elise Watkins) and Carlos (Sebastian Chacon) after discovering something of concern in their living room and needing to decide whether to call the police or not. Premiering on January 20, 2022, at the 38th Sundance Film Festival, it was met with positive reviews from critics. It went on to see a limited theatrical release in the United States starting on May 20, 2022, and was later released for streaming to Amazon Prime Video on May 27, 2022.
