Ependes (Arpitan: Èpindè [3]) was a municipality of the district Saane in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. Since 1977, Sales became the municipality of Ependes.[4] On 1 January 2021, the former municipalities of Arconciel, Ependes and Senèdes merged to form the new municipality of Bois-d'Amont.[5]
