Ethan Winters (Japanese: イーサン・ウィンターズ, Hepburn: Īsan Wintāzu) is a fictional character in the Resident Evil survival horror video game series. Ethan was introduced as one of the playable characters of the 2017 video game Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. He is also the protagonist of the 2021 video game Resident Evil Village.
