Eugen Gomringer
Eugen Gomringer (20 January 1925 – 21 August 2025) was a Bolivian-born Swiss concrete poet.[1] He was head of the Institut für Konstruktive Kunst und Konkrete Poesie (IKKP) in Rehau, Germany. Between 1977 and 1990, he was a professor at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Gomringer was born in in Cachuela Esperanza, Bolivia and was raised in Bern, Switzerland.[2]
In January 2025 Gomringer turned 100 years old.[3] He died seven months later on 21 August 2025.[4]
