Evan Michael "Longo" Longoria (born October 7, 1985) is a third baseman for the San Francisco Giants. Longoria began his MLB career with the Tampa Bay Rays before being traded to the Giants in 2017.[1] He won the 2008 American League Rookie of the Year award. In 2009, he won the Silver Slugger[2] and Gold Glove awards for American League third basemen. Longoria once again won the Gold Glove award in 2010 and 2017.[3] He played for the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2023, also playing in his second World Series the same year. In 2025, he signed a one day contract to retire a Tampa Bay Ray, which he did on June 7, 2025.
