Fehmarn (Danish: Femern) is an island in the Baltic Sea, off the eastern coast of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is the third largest island in Germany, after Rügen and Usedom. Fehmarn is about 18 km south of the Danish island of Lolland by the Fehmarn Belt. The island belongs to Ostholstein.
