The Fils is a river in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is a right tributary of the Neckar. The Fils is 63 km (39 mi) long.
Its source is in the Swabian Alb about two kilometers southwest of the town Wiesensteig. Its karst spring, the Filsursprung, is at 624.9 m above sea level in the Hasental valley. It flows into the Neckar at Plochingen, east of Stuttgart.
