Forest Hill railway station
Forest Hill is a London Overground and National Rail interchange station on South Circular Road (A205) in Forest Hill, south-east London. It lies between Honor Oak Park and Sydenham.
Forest Hill is served by trains to Crystal Palace railway station and West Croydon (although Crystal Palace is in the boundary of fare zones 3 and 4). It is in Travelcard Zone 3. The station is 5 miles 19 chains down the line from London Bridge station.
History
The station was opened in 1839 as part of London, Brighton and South Coast Railway. On 23 May 2010, London Overground services between New Cross Gate and West Croydon commenced operating.

On the London Overground, the typical off-peak service is 8tph between Highbury and Islington and Crystal Palace/West Croydon.
In May 2018, Crystal Palace and West Croydon trains swapped.

On the Southern route, the typical off-peak service is 2tph between London Victoria and London Bridge. During the peak hours, services to Tattenham Corner and Caterham (mornings) and Sutton (evenings) call.
