Frederick Wallace Smith (August 11, 1944 – June 21, 2025) was an American businessman and investor. He was the founder and chairman of FedEx Corporation. Smith stepped down as CEO in June 2022. He had an estimated net worth of $4.8 billion as of April 2025.[1]
Smith died on June 21, 2025 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 80.[2][3]
