Freikorps in the Baltic

The Frekorps in the Baltic were German volunteer paramilitary units that operated in the Baltic states, mainly Latvia and Estonia. They existed between 1918 and 1920, during the chaotic aftermath of World War I and the Russian Revolution. These groups were part of the broader German Freikorps movement, composed largely of demobilized German soldiers, nationalists, and anti-communists.[1]
