Freilassing (German pronunciation: [fʁaɪˈlasɪŋ]), until 1923 Salzburghofen, is a town in Berchtesgadener Land, a district (Landkreis) in Upper Bavaria. Freilassing can be seen as the biggest suburb of Salzburg.
