Furtwangen im Schwarzwald is a town in Schwarzwald-Baar in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is in the Black Forest. About 9,000 people live there.
The Breg is a small river which, starts from the mountainous areas around Furtwangen, flows down through the inner city to the east. The Breg is one of the two small rivers which combine to form the river Danube.
It is the home to the University of Applied Sciences Furtwangen and the German Clock Museum.
