GNR/LNER O Class 2-8-0

The GNR/LNER Class O1/O3 and O2’s were a class of 2-8-0 type Steam locomotives built between 1913 and 1943 during both World War 1 and World War 2 designed by Sir Nigel Gresley until 1941 . A total of 87 Class O1/O3 and O2 Locomotives were built for the GNR and LNER between 1913 and 1943 designed to pull heavy goods trains on the GNR/LNER . All of them were scrapped between 1947 and 1963 by British Railways .
