Gilbert William Gutknecht Jr. (born March 20, 1951) is an American politician. Gutknecht was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from Minnesota's 1st congressional district from 1995 until 2007.
Gutknecht lost his 2006 re-election bid to DFL candidate Tim Walz.[1]
