Grace Meng (Chinese: 孟昭文; born October 1, 1975) is an American lawyer and politician. She has been the U.S. representative for New York's 6th congressional district[1] since 2013. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Meng represented the 22nd district in the New York State Assembly from 2009 until 2012. She is the first Asian American to be elected to the United States Congress from New York.[2]
