Grant Tambling

Grant Ernest John Tambling AM (20 June 1943 – 24 January 2025) was an Australian politician. He was a member of the Country Liberal Party. From 1974 to 1977, he was a member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly. He was a member of the House of Representatives for the Division of Northern Territory from 1980 to 1983. He also served as a Senator for the Northern Territory from 1987 to 2001. He later served as Administrator of Norfolk Island from 2003 to 2007.

Tambling was born in Wondai, Queensland, and grew up in Darwin, Northern Territory. He married Sandra McDowall in 1969. The couple have children.[1]

Tambling died on 24 January 2025, at the age of 81.[2]
