Gulf of Cazones
Gulf of Cazones, or Golfo de Cazones in Spanish is a large gulf in South Cuba located around the Cuban Provinces of Matanzas and Cienfuegos.
It is considered unsafe for ships to sail on because of calms and cross currents.
History
The Bay of Pigs Invasion in 1961 was a failed attempt of invasion by a group of Cuban counter-revelutionaries, paid and trained by the United States to replace Fidel Castro's leftist government.
