Halls Creek

Halls Creek is a town in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. It is in the north of the state, about 2,836 kilometers northeast of Perth. It is on the Great Northern Highway.

The town is known for its gold rush history. Gold was first found there in 1885. Many people came to the area to find gold, but the gold rush ended quickly.

Halls Creek is a hub for a large area. It gives services to the local people, tourists, and the mining industry. The town has an airport, a school, and a hospital.

The weather in Halls Creek can be very hot. There is a "wet season" from November to March, when it can rain a lot. There is also a "dry season" with little rain.

Near Halls Creek, there is a place called China Wall. It is a natural rock formation that looks like a small wall. It is a popular place for visitors to see.[1]
