Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (German for "Hamburg main station") is the main railway station of Hamburg. With an average of 520,000 passengers per day, it is the busiest station in Germany.[3]

The station opened in 1906 and is served by local S-Bahn, regional and long-distance trains.
