Hargeisa (/hɑːrˈɡeɪsə/ har-GA4Y-sə; Somali: Hargeysa; Arabic: هرجيسا, romanized: Harjīsā)[4][5] is the largest and capital city of the Republic of Somaliland. It is also the regional capital of the Waqooyi galbeed province of Somalia.[6][7]
