Harry Roe Hughes (November 13, 1926 – March 13, 2019) was an American politician. He was a member of the Democratic Party. Hughes was the 57th Governor of Maryland from 1979 to 1987.[1]
Hughes died at his home in Denton, Maryland from pneumonia-related problems on March 13, 2019 at the age of 92.[2]
