Herbig–Haro object

Herbig–Haro (HH) objects are bright patches of nebulosity (seen together with, or) associated with newborn stars.


In regard to the phrase cosmic tornado: there is at least one picture that shows a Herbig–Haro object (HH 49/50) and a galaxy; The picture sometimes gets called, "cosmic tornado".[1]
