Hilda Köppl (born 21 March 1905) was an Austrian track and field athlete, being active during the 1920s, the early era of women’s athletics in Austria.[1] She is regarded as one of the main pre-World War II Austrian athletes.[2]

She was specialized in the discus throw and shot put. She was a member of Danubia.[3]

During the 1926 Austrian National Championships, Köppl won the 5kg shot put with a distance of 9.57 metres. That was at the time a world record distance.[4] However it was not officially recognized by the former FSFI, and not approved by the FSFI, though listed in IAAF publications as being a 4 kg record.[5] She represented Austria at international competitions. She won among others the shot put event at the 1927 Berlin international women's athletics meeting, the main women’s athletics competition in 1927.[6]
