The Honda Avancier is a mid-size Crossover SUV made by Honda through its joint-venture with GAC called GAC Honda since 2016.
History and Features
The prototype of The Honda Avancier was shown at The Auto Shanghai in 2015[5] and made its debut as the concept D.[6] Honda later revealed the prototype version at Auto China in April 2016 and later at Chengdu Auto Show in September. The Avancier is the flagship SUV of Honda in China and is positioned above the Honda CR-V.
The car has a 1.5 liter and 2.0 liter both turbo VTEC petrol engines. The 1.5 liter version has a CVT transmission while the 2.0 liter version has a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Avancier received facelifts in 2020[7] and 2023.

The Honda UR-V is a version of the Avancier made by Dongfeng Honda a joint venture between Honda and Dongfeng. It was put on sale in 2017.[8] It also received facelifts in 2020[9] and 2023.
Markets
The Honda Avancier alongside the UR-V are currently sold only in The Chinese market.

UR-V and Avancier successors are due for release in 2023. The GLTP2 architecture of the current models will be replaced by an update of the platform which today's Civic and Accord are based on.
