How to Train Your Dragon is an American fantasy movie. It is expected to first be shown at CinemaCon on April 2, 2025 and then released on June 13, 2025.[1][2] It was directed by Dean DeBlois. He also wrote and co-produced the movie with Marc Platt and Adam Siegel.[3] It is a live-action remake of the 2010 movie of the same name.
The movie follows a boy named Hiccup as he makes friends with a dragon named Toothless and trains him, going against viking traditions. Most of the movie follows the plot of the 2010 movie.[4]
Principal photography for the movie started in Belfast, Northern Ireland on January 15, 2024 and ended on May 16.[5][6] The film has gained a IMDb ranking of 8.1/10, which is the exact same as the original original film[7]
