"I'm Every Woman" is a 1978 debut single by Chaka Khan and is the leading single from her debut studio album Chaka. It was her first hit outside the band Rufus. It went to number 21 in the United States, number 8 in the United Kingdom, number 7 in Ireland, number 9 in the Netherlands, number 27 in Australia and number 18 in New Zealand. It was covered by Whitney Houston for the 1992 movie The Bodyguard and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1994.
