iOS 17 adds interactive widgets to iPhones. These widgets work on different screens, like the home screen and lock screen. It helpe people finish reminders, control music, and manage home app accessories. Third-party apps can now also use these features in the future. Before, there were rules limiting what widgets could do, but now they can use buttons, and have animations on the home screen.[1]
