Idaho's 2nd congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S state of Idaho. It is in the eastern part of the state. The capital city of Idaho, Boise, Idaho is in the district. The other big cities in the 2nd district are Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Twin Falls, Rexburg, Hailey and Sun Valley. The people who live in the district elect a person to represent the district in the United States House of Representatives. The district is currently represented by Mike Simpson, a Republican from Idaho Falls.
