Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Acts (IDEA) are documents–pieces of American legislation. These ensure students having a disability (example: autism spectrum conditions, intellectual troubles or development problems) are provided with Free and Appropriate Public Educations (FAPE) which are suitable for their need.[1]
The IDEA Acts were enacted in 1990 as replacing the old "Education for All Handicapped Children Acts" (EHA in short) to place more focus on the individuals and not the disabilities they have or had.
