The Iranian Arabs (Arabic: عرب إيران ʿArab-e Īrān; Persian: عربهای ايران Arabhā-ye Irān) are the citizens of Iran who are ethnically Arab and who speak Arabic as their native mother tongue.[2] In 2008, their population stood at about 1.6 million people.[3] They are primarily concentrated in the Khuzestan province.[4][5][6]
