James Clayton "Jim" Dobson (April 21, 1936 – August 21, 2025) was an American evangelist who was the founder and chairman of the board of Focus on the Family. He was an Evangelical.[1] He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Dobson died at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado on August 21, 2025, at the age of 89.[2]
