James Alexander Maynard (born 10 June 1987) is a British mathematician. His works focused in analytic number theory. In 2017, he was hired as a Research Professor at Oxford University.[1] He was awarded the Fields Medal in 2022.[2]
He was elected a member of the Academia Europaea in 2020.[3]
