Jan Terlouw
Jan Cornelis Terlouw (15 November 1931 – 16 May 2025) was a Dutch politician, physicist and writer. He was a member of the Democrats 66 (D66) party. Terlouw was born in Kamperveen, Netherlands. He was the Deputy Prime Minister and at the same time the Minister of Economic Affairs from 1981 to 1982 during the Dries van Agt cabinet.[1] A children's writer, his best known work is Winter in Wartime (Oorlogswinter, 1972).
Terlouw died in Twello, Netherlands on 16 May 2025, at the age of 93.[2]
