Janeane Garofalo (born September 28, 1964) is an American political activist, stand up comedian and actress. She was co-host on the radio show The Majority Report.
Garofalo is of Italian and Irish descent. Her father is a former executive at Exxon.[1][2] Garofalo was raised as a conservative Catholic.[3] Garofalo now describes herself as an atheist.[4]
She had two Emmy Award[5] nominations for her role on The Larry Sanders Show.
