Janusz Tazbir (August 5, 1927 – May 3, 2016) was a Polish historian. He worked in the subject of the culture and religion of Poland in the 16th and 17th centuries. He was born in Kałuszyn. He wrote over 1,000 books and essays about the history of Poland.

Tazbir died on May 3, 2016 in Warsaw, aged 88.[1]
