Jason James Carter (born August 7, 1975)[1] is an American lawyer and politician. He was a member of the Georgia State Senate from 2010 to 2015. Carter was the Democratic Party nominee for Governor of Georgia in 2014. He is the grandson of U.S. President and Georgia Governor Jimmy Carter.[2]
