Jean Douchet (French: [duʃɛ]; 19 January 1929 – 21 November 2019) was a French movie director, historian, movie critic and teacher. He began his career in the early 1950s at Gazette du Cinéma and Cahiers du cinema with members of the future French New Wave.[1][2][3][4]
Douchet died on 21 November 2019 in Paris at the age of 90.[5]
