Jens Voigt (born 17 September 1971) is a German former professional road bicycle racer and sports commentator.^[1] He was born in Grevesmühlen, East Germany. He rode for Giant–Australian Institute of Sport, Crédit Agricole, Tinkoff and Lidl–Trek from 1997 to 2014.

Voigt competed in the 2001 and 2006 Tour de France. He also competed in the 2008 Giro d'Italia. He also took part in the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics.

He retired in 2004.^[2] He is nicknamed the "King of Cycling".^[2]
