James Edward Banks (born July 16, 1979) is an American politician who is the junior United States Senator from Indiana since 2025. He was a member of the U.S. representative for Indiana's 3rd congressional district from 2017 to 2025. He is a Republican.
In January 2023, Banks announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate in the 2024 election.[1] He won the election in November 2024.
