Joe Burns (cricketer)

Joseph Anthony Burns (born 6 September, 1989 in Herston, Brisbane) is a cricketer who has played in 23 Test matches for Australia. To the end of the 2023/24 season, he had played in 160 first-class matches, scoring 9,809 runs with a highest innings of 202*. His main teams have been Queensland, from 2010/11 to 2023/24; and Brisbane Heat (Twenty20), from 2012/13 to 2020/21. Burns also had spells in England and Wales, playing for each of Leicestershire, Middlesex, Glamorgan, and Lancashire. In 2024, Burns played in five Twenty20 Internationals for Italy.[1]
