Kicker is a magazine focused primarily on association football. The magazine was founded in 1920 by Walther Bensemann. Each edition sells around 80,000 copies. The magazine also publishes the Kicker Fußball-Almanach (an almanac).
History
kicker was first issued in July 1920 in Konstanz. The headquarters were originally in Stuttgart before moving to Nuremberg in 1926.[2] During World War II, they tried to publish it, but the magazine was discontinued in the autumn season of 1944. After the war, the magazine was being published again.
